Eye Consultants of Atlanta is proud to announce that our own Dr. W. Barry Lee was chosen as the keynote lecturer at the June 11, 2016, annual meeting of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, a nonprofit medical society that advances patient care in ophthalmology. Dr. Lee is pictured with both the current and future presidents of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology after giving the 2016 Melvin Rubin Memorial Lecture on “Pearls to Prevent Peril in Complex Cataract Surgery Cases.”

Dr. Lee specializes in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery and is heavily involved in ophthalmologic research, having published over 50 peer-reviewed scientific journals in his field. An impressive list of awards includes the American Medical Association’s Physician Recognition Award, as well as inclusion in The Premier Surgeon 300 List (Ocular Surgery News) and placement in America’s Top Ophthalmologists (Consumer Research Council).
