Eyelid Apraxia
What Is Eyelid Apraxia?
There is a variant of benign essential blepharospasm (BEB) known as Eyelid Apraxia. The condition makes it very difficult to open the eyelids unless one manually opens their eyelids. This condition may be less responsive to injections, but, in conjunction with oral medications and/or minimally invasive surgery, it is still treatable.
