Inaccessible. Do not return phone calls. Could not get a helpful return call from Dr. Lee’s surgical assistant re:... pre-op eye drops, so wound up the day before surgery paying $192.00 for 5 ml of drops that neither Medicare nor Aetna would cover. Totally preventable, as I later learned when I did receive much needed assistance from local Macon EYE office employees.Utilized phone, email, texts on patient portal with 7 attempts to get a post op appt for my mother. She had surgery in the Macon satellite surgery center, was seen POD#1, and rather than making the 3-4 week follow up there, was told to call the ATL office for appt. However, put on hold with no response ever on multiple occasions. Finally obtained an appt 8 weeks rather than 3-4 weeks post-op.Would never use again!read more
The staff is friendly and courteous. My wait time was not excessive. Dr Lee took care to explain what my problem... was and what he was doing. I was fearful there was permanent damage to my eye. The staff and Dr Lee were comferting and verified there would be no permanent damage.read more
I love this practice. All the staff from the front to the back office are so nice and helpful and always with a smile.... Dr. Lee has been the first doctor that actually have been able to help me with my vision without going the “bandaid” route. My vision results have been amazing and I can’t thank Dr. Lee enough. I highly recommend this practice to anyone.read more

I had cataract surgery in November and December 2019. The results were far less than expected. Dr. Lee said I would... need only readers. Far from it. While driving I have the choice of seeing what's in front of me or the instrument panel. Can't see both. I feel like I'm driving blind. I have to be driven to most places I need to go. A prisoner in my house. Dr. Lee said I had 20/20 distance vision. The optometrist said the best it could be corrected was 20/40. But that leaves me with worse near vision than before. The doctor told me my astigmatism was bad. This was supposed to have been corrected with the new lens Now I have the expense of a new exam and new glasses. All for nothing. Does this work come with a guarantee? How I wish I saw as I did before. This is misery. Absolutely nothing is in focus. He left me in much worse shape than before.read more
