Dr. Gardner seems very competent and thorough. Excellent bedside manner! My only complaint is with clerical staff and... scheduling. After waiting for 6 weeks for an appointment, I still had to wait for 2 hours to see doctor on day of appointment and waiting room was crowded. Avoiding crowded places has been important to me during pandemic so I was not comfortable there. Clerical staff were rushed and always running and seemed to be understaffed.I will return to this doctor because I do like him. My eyes are better using the treatments he prescribed for me. I did express my concerns to doctor about wait time and he explained that he was on call that day in addition to seeing patients.read more
Very pleased with Dr Gardner’s skill. My procedure is apparently successful. I look forward to having my other eye... done. Support staff doesn’t seem to be as interested in patient concerns as I would like. They do their work, so I guess that is all that matters, but they seem detached.read more
Dr Gardner is absolutely the best. Wish I could say the same for his staff. I had an appointment at 10:00 verified by... the phone call the prior day. I got there at 0940 and waited for 25 minutes, they came and put me in an examining room, where I waited 15 minutes, then they came and got me and sent me back to the waiting room where I waited another 15 minutes before I got up and asked the receptionist what was wrong, since another couple who came in when I first got there before 10 was taken back. She informed me (after waiting 55 minutes) that there were 3 more ahead of me. I left the office and don't know if I would go back, even thought I love Dr Gardner.read more
My lens replacement procedure went smoothly. It was relatively quick and totally painless. All personnel were... professional and pleasant. My follow up appointment the next day was also handled professionally. The only drawback to the follow up was the waiting time. From the scheduled appointment time to departure from the office was two hours. The total time in the rooms for the tech evaluation and the doctors evaluation was 20 to 30 minutes. Total waiting time was 1hr, 30 minutes. If you are prepared for the wait, everything else will be great.read more
