Charles J. Patorgis, O.D. received his O.D. degree with honors from New England College of Optometry in Boston and his B.A. degree with highest honors from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. Postgraduate training included a residency in vision rehabilitation at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Patorgis won numerous awards as a graduate and undergraduate student, including election to Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa.
He previously served as director of optometric services at the Center for Sight in Florida, as an associate professor at the New England College of Optometry, and as low vision consultant to the Perkins School for the Blind in Massachusetts. Dr. Patorgis has a special interest in non-surgical eye care and provides consultative support to area optometrists.

Dr. Patorgis and his technician Jessica were a joy. Dr. Patorgis seemed happy to spend as much time with me as I... needed, which is rare with doctors these days. He answered all my questions and asked for more. Jessica encouraged me throughout my eye exam. They laughed with me.
