The EEC is a group of employees that represent different departments who meet to identify and address challenges preventing staff from being engaged and to create initiatives to help staff feel more connected to your work, increase job satisfaction, and enhance your overall work experience. The purpose is to promote and support a sense of pride and passion every day in our roles as team members and our commitment to ECA. Its goal is to understand and appreciate diversity and different perspectives and address team recommendations and/or concerns.

Tenured Team Member Interview
Soraya Tomas, Ophthalmic Tech, Marietta
She has always told her co-workers that every company will have ups and downs. She has always believed you need to be with a company for at least one full year to make the decision whether to stay or not. She emphasizes salary is not the only thing to consider. She values the fact that ECA provides insurance benefits and a 401 K, as not all companies do. “In this world we are now living in, that is extremely important,” said Soraya.
The last thing she wanted to mention is that ECA provides her with a great sense of security, which she believes is above and beyond one of the most important things to her as a valued team member and gives her an overwhelming feeling of peace.
Piedmont Better Vision
Our current cornea fellow, Samantha Marek MD, will be offering Lasik at $1000.00 per eye as opposed to $2425.00 per eye. She will be proctored by one of our established Lasik surgeons. It’s a win, win for everyone.
Please have your friends, your family, or yourself call Connie Morrow at 404-350-1425 to schedule a consult. You will need to leave a message stating the consultation is with Dr. Marek, the cornea fellow. We need to start collecting patient candidates now for an October credential surgery date.
