In 2002, the doctors of Eye Consultants of Atlanta opened Piedmont Eye Surgical Center to better serve our patients. Piedmont Eye is a dedicated outpatient eye surgical facility committed to excellence in ophthalmic surgical care and patient convenience.
The center is AAAASF and Medicare accredited and has an outstanding record of patient safety and exceptional patient satisfaction. More than 5,000 laser and surgical procedures are performed at Piedmont Eye each year and, to our knowledge, it is the largest facility of its kind in the southeast.
